Torso Track Frequently Asked Questions

OPTIONAL POWER BAR

Your Torso Track is available with an optional 36" power bar to help you focus on building muscle strength in your latissimus dorsi (lats), chest and shoulder muscles. Installing the bar is easy ... simply follow the same instructions given on pages 5 and 6 for the standard handlebar. When you begin using the power bar, you'll notice that there's a much wider grip, enabling you to workout your upper torso area more intensely. If you've purchased the optional power bar with your Torso Track, use the bar to vary your workout each time you exercise. If you'd like to purchase the power bar, call customer service at 1-800-277-4127 to order.

INSPECT YOUR TORSO TRACK PRIOR TO EACH USE

Before using your Torso Track for your workout session, be sure to make the following inspection:

  • Check that the tension cords are attached securely into position on the main unit.
  • Check that the tension cords are traveling correctly in the pulleys on the underside of the carriage. * Make sure the handlebar is properly affixed to the carriage and the thumbwheel screw is tightly fastened.
  • Check that the kneel bar is installed correctly in the front pivot bracket.
  • Make sure the locking hitch pin is securely fastened between the kneel bar and the main unit.
  • Be sure the kneel pad lies flat and is positioned firmly in place on the kneel bar.

    ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

  • Wipe down your Torso Track after each use with a clean, damp (not wet) cloth. Do not leave towels or workout clothing laying on the equipment.
  • Periodically check the following parts for signs of fraying or other wear: the tension cords, the carriage, the wheels, the carriage cover, the kneel pad, the kneel bar and the frame. If a part needs replacement, do not use the equipment until it is repaired.
