How does this formula differ from commercial silymarin supplements?
It is the first milk thistle extract to contain standardized concentrations of isosilybin A and B as well as silibinins.

What’s so significant about isosilybin A and B?
They help maintain healthy cell division for continued liver health.

How does Cruciferous Detox Formula promote detoxification?
I3C (Indole-3-carbinol) and DIM (Di-indolyl-methane) nutrients promote healthy estrogen metabolism and support liver detoxification enzymes which help neutralize estrogen metabolites and estrogen-like environmental chemicals called xenoestrogens.

How does Cruciferous Detox Formula support cellular health?
Broccoli, watercress, and rosemary extracts contain bioactive compounds like glucosinolates, carnosic acid, and carnosol, which promote healthy cell division (along with healthy estrogen metabolism). The plant compound apigenin boosts cell protection, and cabbage extract helps maintain cellular health.

What is Glutathione?
Glutathione (L-gamma-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine) is a peptide molecule synthesized in the body. Glutathione is one of the body’s most important and powerful antioxidants.

What is L-cysteine?
L-cysteine is a conditionally essential amino acid, one of only three sulfur-containing amino acids. Cysteine plays a role in the sulfation cycle, and also helps synthesize glutathione.

Why is Vitamin C included in this formula?
Vitamin C is an essential nutrient — and as an antioxidant, it scavenges free radicals in the body and protects tissues from oxidative stress, as well as performing several other important functions. Vitamin C is also vital to the formation of collagen, the connective tissue that supports arterial walls, skin, bones, and teeth.1-10
