How lovely and very touching to hear that Leslie designed the beautiful cover of the memorial program…Suzanne asked her to design her first costumes for Las Vegas…then on the program, she wears Leslie’s last original costume design for her…❤️
Hi Alan and family. I just watched your latest Instagram and loved it (especially your toenail polish!) I continue to watch several times a day the clip with all of you to the song Happy. It is so lovely and Suzanne certainly was blessed and so happy. She had such a great laugh! I include all of you in my prayers every night. I certainly believe in an afterlife and look forward one day (hopefully in many years!) to seeing my loved ones and pets! As I age (I’m 64), I sometimes get a little scared about passing on, but that’s when I rely on my faith to get me through. It never fails me. God bless you, Alan and please continue to thrive in good health with your wonderful sense of humor!
Thinking of you all-

As you requested, I am leaving a tribute…yes I believe in afterlife. It starts with everybody that she touched. As I look at your family faces and listen to them, she lives in all of them and her audience. She was a woman above her time. She used her success to help all women and I am grateful to learn her teachings. What does it mean to be a woman.
I am of her generation a few years younger. I learned of her in American Graffiti and Threes Company. I was baffled when I couldn’t figure out why she was no longer with the show. “Why wasn’t she on the other end of the phone?” I did not learn until her death what really happened. In spite of that she always turned lemons to lemonade.
Truly one of the bravest women of our time. I too had breast cancer, I used her knowledge of health, but I also did chemo and radiation. I didn’t believe I was strong enough to go without. She had an inner strength that can only be admired.
She will remain in my heart for the rest of my life. I will teach my children and grandchildren as she has taught us.
Thanks to you Alan, Bruce, Caroline, and all of your families. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your family.
Just a little side note❤️my 9 year old granddaughter was over yesterday. She saw a text on my phone from Suzanne Somers. I love it. She said, Gramma Suzanne Somers is texting you with a curious face. I got her mom a thighmaster at Christmas. Aubrey said I am going to have Suzanne Somers text her every day and say get out of that chair and exercise. " lol
Thx for giving me the opportunity to share how Suzanne affected my life and still does. She built a family through ❤️ And she will be sorely missed, but I get texts every day from her and watch your fb live and she lives on🙏🙏
She taught all of us about love and forgiveness.
Dear Al, I have followed you, Suzanne and your family for years, and previously posted about the impact she has had on my health, from improving my digestion (gut renew) to helping me gain a better understanding of hormones. Last night you asked us to share our beliefs about the afterlife. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus Christ, God’s son, died for our sins, rose from the grave to defeat death for all of us and went on to prepare a place for us to dwell with him (in heaven). The gift of eternal life is one that cannot be earned, but is freely given to those who trust and follow Jesus. The Bible also says when Christians are “absent from the body (dead) they are present with Christ.” (2 Corinthians 5:8). The Bible describes heaven in detail. It has mansions where we will dwell with Jesus (John 14:2-3). It’s a place filled with peace and joy (Revelation 7:15-17), adorned with gemstones (Revelation 21:9-11) and with pearl gates and streets of gold (Revelation 21:21). I often heard Suzanne talk about prayer and Jesus, and the messages she received that she believed were from God. Wishing you and your family peace and comfort in the new year. Thank you for keeping the company going.
It’s been almost 3 months since Suzanne past and I still feel like it’s not real. I had a beautiful experience a couple of days after it happened that I will never forget and I lost a very dear friend shortly after Suzanne past and I didn’t have the same experience. All I can say is that God knew I was troubled at her passing I mean she was so alive and vibrant to those of us that saw her only on camera and I truly thought she would kive much longer than she did. I was deep in dark thoughts thinking about that vibrant person being lowered into the ground I must of heard that her funeral would be that day and I was wondering where she was at with her beliefs and at that moment a feeling came over me that I’ve not experienced and it was of joy and peace and I knew at that moment that she is with our lord and that she is very happy where she is. I really was not going to share that moment until Al said to please leave something on the tribute page. Bless Suzanne for caring about us. ❤️
