Dear Alan I am so sorry for your loss.
Susanne was such a lovely person. She touched us all even though we didn’t know her personally, we sure felt we did.
You feel differently now because grief has so many different stages and you will go through them all from time to time. Everyone grieves differently too. There is no right or wrong way I’ve been through the journey of grief a few times. And that’s what it is…a journey.
Imreally not sure about an after life. I’d like to think so, it’s comforting, but I’m not sure. I guess the older we get the more we are hopeful that there is one. I’m 65 now and I find I’m thinking about that sort of thing more often.
Anyways, take care, take strength I’m knowing that you had what most never achieved..a happy marriage. May your memories give you strength to help ease your pain as you travel through your journey.
Thank you for doing what you do.
Susanne was much loved and appreciated and will never be forgotten ❤️
Take care Alan. ❤️

I have been praying for you and your family … God has so blessed you with a wonderful family…Suzanne was a wonderful wife and she loved you with all of her heart and soul there was such a great affection between the two of you… I met her and Caroline in November 2009 on her Suzanne cruise with my best friend my sister ….i watched you today and yes there is an afterlife…in the tanakh the old covenant read Isaiah 53 and psalm 22 … the psalms are so full of Gods comfort psalm 42 v 11 it reminds me that He is present with me and he sees my sadness and understands what I am going through the God of Isreal loves you and is waiting with open arms for your pain … it was said of the psalms that King David had a heart for God … what does that mean …. They say he poured out his heart to God and told him everything he barred his soul to God told Him all about …. I this verse in psalm 55v 22 “cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you He will never allow the righteous to be shaken … He is the sustainer of your soul “psalm 37 v 4 “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart v 5 commit your way to the Lord Trust also in Him and He will do it… who does it Allen? You or God… David understood that it was God v7 Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him … again your job is to let Him know… He’s God and He already knows because He is omniscient all knowing … What he wants is for you is to come to him and tell Him … He wants a relationship with you …The omniscient omnipresent God seeks us out … have your “quite time” in the evening take out your covenant and read Get to know the awesome God of Israel … I will continue to pray for your family and of course you.Isaiah 41v31” yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired they will walk and not become wary verse 29 he gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might he increases power…you ask He does ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Al, you asked for us to leave a comment about our beliefs in the afterlife, so I felt extremely compelled to do so. As I am a Christian, I have often thought it sad when people are unsure of what awaits them when they leave this world. I believe the Bible says we are either destined to enter Heaven where we will spend eternity with God, where there will be no more tears or pain, or we will go to hell, which is essentially eternal separation from God. For me and my beliefs, salvation is a free gift from God. As far as I know, Christianity is the only religion where you aren’t responsible for “earning” your way into Heaven. It’s a free gift and can only occur when you place your faith in Jesus being our redeemer. He also created us with free will, so it’s something we have to choose. I believe Christianity gets a bad rep as some people view it with a legalistic idea. I believe the Bible is there to show us a story of what agape-type love is and to lead us in a life that will ultimately bring us more peace. It’s not a rule-book to dictate our life. It’s there for our protection and with our best interest in mind. The gospel in one word is Love. Love the Lord God above all else and then love each other-your brothers and sisters in Christ, the struggling drug addict, the person with a completely different political view, the single mom raising kids, the prostitute on the corner trying to earn money to feed her kids, etc.
Not just was she loved and beautiful but she was real….I sincerely pray for you Alan that in your most painful moments of Loss you feel Gods peace and assurance that he is walking with you in your grief process. When I watch you now it’s amazing to me to see her mannerisms in you💙…they say that happens after a lifetime of love and companionship 💙
You both were a part of my family! Watched you all the time! Suzanne’s sweetness I miss 😢 I still watch the old ones. It’s like she is still with us 🤗 Miss her very much 😢 Alan you are entertaining to watch Thank you for holding it together!
