Dear Alan,
Tonight I watched you as I always do on Wednesday night @Big Al’s Bar.
You asked for people to give their opinion on afterlife.
I started searching for many questions I had several years ago after my husband died. I wanted to know more about the afterlife and God. I was feeling lonely and hurting so much. I read the Bible, joined a Christian church, and met the most loving church family. God lead me to many Bible passages that help me in my build my faith.
In my bible reading allot became clearer, and answers to many questions were revealed.
Here is one passage that I love:
Ecclesiastes 12:7 says tells us what happens when a person dies. It says, “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.” In other words, when a person dies, his or her spirit goes back to God, the body returns to dust and the soul of that person no longer exist.
The more I read and learn from the Bible the more I truly believe that heaven exists and our soul will be there with God.
I know the beautiful soul Susan has that she is happy in heaven, with our Lord. She is looking down on you, and everyone she loves. She lives with you in your heart, and your soul. You and Susan are one.
I hope this message brings you comfort, and answers about the afterlife. It is Heaven.
Sincerely,
Pam
Dearest Al, Bruce, Caroline and family. I have been watching your LIVE shows since 2018 and was so amazed how down to Earth, Funny smart and beautiful- inside and out- Suzanne and family truly is. I had breast cancer in 2014 so really interested in what she has to say about health and wellness. Believe me I was blown away with all her knowledge strength and beauty. I am trying to write this without crying but it’s so hard. Even though I never had the privilege to meet her in person. I felt like I knew her and I feel like she was a best friend to all of us. Suzanne really cared about sharing her knowledge and really wanted to help all of us. Thank you and Bless you all for keeping her company up and running and for all the LIVES and also the You Tube shows up so that we can binge watch her shows when needed. When my niece ran away from home and stayed with us for a year, I shared Suzanne’s book with her. Suzanne’s book “365 Ways to Change Your Life” really helped my niece get a new perspective on life and really dig deep into her soul and contemplate on life’s true meaning. Every day we would pick a page to read from, and I would give her a few minutes to read and think about what Suzanne wrote for the day. Then I would ask my niece what does she feel It means. Then I would tell her what I think it means, and we would go over it together. After a few days my niece would read Suzannes book on her own and every day we would discuss the thought/meaning behind what Suzanne wrote. The smile on my niece’s face while discussing Suzanne’s book was heartwarming 😊💕 I wish Suzanne were still here but I believe her energy is that of a beautiful Angel sending love and butterflies your way. She will be the whisper of positivity that you hear when you stop to really listen and she will be the smiling Angel visiting in your dreams to remind you that she loves you always. Bless you all 🙏🏼💖we’re praying for God to provide you strength love and courage through this difficult journey 💖💖💖🙏🏼 we love you 💜
I have always enjoyed Suzanne’s many books. I read and reread them and tried to follow her health plan. The pictures in the books of Suzanne and her family were always delightful to look at.
She was a beautiful woman and had a wonderful spirit about her. Her smile was infectious and she always had that beautiful glow about her. Her wardrobe was always beautiful as well, bright and cheery!
Suzanne loved teaching and sharing her knowledge of being and staying healthy. She is sorely missed by many.
Happy New Year and I trust your family will continue the journey of healing and happiness.
Hi Alan, Bruce, Caroline, and family,
I was blessed to meet Alan and Suzanne at the clinic I co-owned in Palm Desert.
I’m 58, and when I was 22 I bought Suzanne’s book, Keeping Secrets. I also grew up with an alcoholic father. I read the first page of Suzanne’s book and I no longer felt alone. What I read on the first page I also had experienced. And we kept that secret for many years. I wish I would have thanked Suzanne for her life changing book.
I cherished the Tuesday nights when I was a kid, with Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, then Three’s Company.
I moved on my own to Palm Springs in 1993 and lived on South Palm Canyon. Met my future husband, Dr. Dan Johnson, and we moved to the Mesa area and lived around the corner from Alan and Suzanne.
I was so thrilled to meet you and Suzanne at the clinic. I got to help you this time.
I always remembered Alan from the Alpha Beta commercials. Always thought you were so handsome.
I loved the Live today. I have been watching them for years.
I recently had brain surgery at Cedar’s Sanai Dec. 11, and your Lives have lifted my spirits, and they did in the past when I was going through a chronic health condition, that led to surgery. So thank you so very much. For Christmas I bought Suzanne’s Love bracelet, in honor of my mom, who I lost last January, and Suzanne, who
I have cherished since I was a kid.
Suzanne was an amazing talent, her show at the McCallum was amazing. Alan, you are amazing too. You two together are one class act! I look forward to the next Live!
Thank you! Your whole family is amazing!
Hugs to you Alan. Kristie
As a Catholic we are taught that when we pass from this life we go directly before God for His Judgment. Since God is not bound by the time or space He created, (for He is ALWAYS is in the Eternal Now) at the Judgement all time is FINISHED.
So as we remain alive, we grieve the loss of our loved ones but in the Eternal Now, we are already with our loved ones right now. How else can their joy be complete? We are simply in time but ALSO in the Eternal Now, but through the gift of faith, we are already there right now. This is what happens at every Mass. We enter into this great Mystery where we are one and united as One Holy and Complete Body. Some are in glory while others are being purified in Purgatory, yet others are still here on earth with a Devine mission to complete, yet is already complete in the Eternal Now. It is in ETERNITY where we are the maturity of the choices we made and our time here is simply the naking of our eternal selves that evolved from our free will to choose good over evil while in the GRACE of time and space. Our life choices are what made us who we are in eternity. This is why Saint John Paul 2 said heaven and hell is not a place, but a state of being. Our state of being is nurtured in this time and place and must be fed by this Eternal Reality in the Consecrated Body and Blood of Christ where He is perfectly united with us, His Holy and Complete Bride. Our time here is like a drop in the ocean, so small and yet so creative that it has a ripple effect in the ETERNAL. May our ripples bring Glory to God.
