Just hard to describe how she affected my life . She was so inspirational and also so real ! Beautiful always yet so humble . I was injured and watched her and Al & they helped me go on in a positive way !!sending my love snd prayers 🙏❤️
Dear Somers & Hamel Family, So sorry for your great loss. Suzanne ‘Zannie’ is an icon of the world. I watched her as Chrissy Snow & followed her jewelry line & then started watching 2-3 times a wk on FB LIVES. Loved all their ⭐️ Hollywood stories. Big Al & Suzanne were a power couple in everything they did. Once on LIVE when Suzanne was in bathtub outside I said dance Al and Caroline said Kris said to dance. So Al did a little dance to the strip tease music. We all laughed so hard. Suzanne loved to get Al involved. She had an amazing way of explaining hormones, cells for ppl to understand. I have some of her books, jewelry & still few jars bottles of her skincare line which I love & will need more soon. Suzanne always had a gentle sweet way & generous in her home to her family I could always tell by the way she fed everyone first. It was sad to hear she was not her healthy self. Things were never the same after her leg hip issue and then after her & Al fell down the steps holding onto hands. I know she loved the bright color green & loved her yellow hat. She had to have toe cleavage with her high heels. She loved sweets too. The success of her thigh master & gut renew she was very proud of because of the surprise it gave her of how popular. I am rarely on FB anymore & now on TT but will start watching Caroline & the girls more often. I do watch but not like I used to. I’m sad she’s gone. Al, stay strong, she’s right there with you for sure. See you all on FB LIVES & when I see the bright green color or hear about hormones I will always think of Suzanne Somers! Rest in Peace & Love🕊💚💃👠💄💋 👒💛😇🎶⭐️ Sincerely, Kris Schaus
Growing up, Three’s Company was one of my favorite shows. I bet I’ve seen every episode a few dozen times. It was never as good after Suzanne left though, not by a long shot. When I had to chose my stage name years ago, I wanted to choose a name I liked, so I picked my favorite Young & the Restless character for my first name (Sharon), and wanted something that sounded great with it for the last name. Since I’d always been a fan of Suzanne’s, I thought Somers. That was perfect. So I’ve gone by that name professionally for over 15 years now. I also very much enjoyed her Keeping Secrets book, and The Sexy Years book, both of which I still have. Ironically, we also share the same birthday, Oct. 16. Different years, but the same date. So being a fan of hers since childhood, I felt so badly hearing she’d passed away just one day shy of her birthday. Yes, it would have been lovely if she could have had another ten years or more left, but she had a wildly successful life. Beauty, talent, a great career, and a very long, happy marriage. That’s more than most get by far. She left a world a better place for having been here and making so many laugh. God speed, beautiful lady.
God bless Suzanne for her courage, strength and compassion. She has been an inspiration in this crazy, weird world we live in. I hope she is in a wonderful place with God.
Dear Sweet Suzanne,
I wish you were still here. I was heartbroken when I heard the news. I’m an 80s baby and started following you in the 90s. I loved watching Three’s Company and Step by Step, so many laughs for so many years!
Thank you for welcoming us to your home, sharing your wisdom, and spreading the love! You made me smile and laugh during a time I struggled to do both. Your live shows and story time were entertaining, real, informative, therapeutic and unforgettable! You will live in our hearts forever! Bruce is right, we needed more time with you! I will miss you dearly!
