Heartbroken for we truly lost a beautiful soul on earth but I know heaven’s angels are singing her praises. It’s hard to put into words what Suzanne meant to me and the impact she made in my life since childhood. From watching her funny skits on Three’s Company and Step by Step to learning about functional medicine and bio-identical hormones through her bestseller books.. She was a pioneer in being outspoken about Women’s health and wellness issues (to the extent that she could). To her many amazing cookbooks that I have as well and her delish roast chicken recipe and more. Her regular IG & FB Lives with Big Al and family were the most fun and comforting hours on social media. She was all class, beauty and no BS. Forever a champion. She will be deeply missed. It feels incredibly unreal. Suzanne was pure love+sunshine! Heaven has gained an angel. We gained a Godmother. Continue to shine your light on us Suzanne, and heal the world from above! 🕊🤍🙏✝️ My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the beautiful Somers and Hamel families and relatives. ❤️❤️

Such a wonderful, beautiful, intelligent women. Made us laugh, cry and all things in-between.
Not just an actress, but a loving person, business women and OMG, her smile was so special.
I am very sorry for your loss, I understand the pain but always remember, when thinking of her…SMILE. She hs such a wonderful family and wish you all my best during this very difficult time. Sending huge hugs to the family and friends.

What can I say that hasn’t been said?
It’s not often a celebrity can enter the lives of so many people and truly feel cherished, and for you to cherish them, but you have.
I’ve always thought you were funny, but really looked past the actress and at the person from an article and photo I saw some years ago. It was probably the same photo shoot for your 73rd birthday, but it was of you I think sitting on a swing somewhere on your Palm Springs property, with grasses covering’vital’ parts 😂, and you were looking away from the camera, and it was beautiful and simple and evoked such a picture of peace and contentment. It was beautiful, and I have an insane love of the desert, so I read more. I learned of your life story and struggles and how smart you were. Then I found your fb live shows at Big Al’s Bar, and I looked forward to them each week. Your love for your family was very clear, and your calm spirit pulled me in. I’ve learned about confidence, healthier living and self care. I loved your cooking shows, that you and Alan shopped at Costco, and that even with all the success, fame, and luxury you achieved, it still came down to it, it was your family that was so dear to your soul. That beautiful oven roasted organic chicken. Every time you cooked one, your words and movements of spooning the roasted vegetables onto a plate…it was clear every aspect of that meal was love. At least to me.
So anyway, I’ve lived a life of turmoil beyond my control from childhood abuse, to narcissistic boyfriends and in-laws, I’ve always known I wanted nothing but peace, and it’s a lifelong journey. You have helped me learn that’s it’s possible. (You, and Jewel, another very confident and honest blonde woman). I’m reading “365 Ways To Change Your Life”. I’m reading it slowly, some of the ‘days’ require more honesty and reflection than twenty four hours, but it feels good, even to be honest with myself and let uncomfortable feelings of the past resurface so I can reflect as an adult about them. It will take awhile to finish this book, but I have the feeling it’s a book I’ll reference forever. Thank you. Rest easy. Enjoy your cake and oven roasted chicken.💖💖

Loved Suzanne – of course on Three’s Company, and hsn, also had many of her books, including Keeping Secrets, she definitely had the gift of Irish storytelling! A funny story during my wannabe actress days, was sent for an audition for tooth whitener and I went in, her son, Bruce was the interviewer and Caroline was there too; I said at the end of the meeting to him, I know who you are and who you mother is, and I adore her, he was great and just smiled, Caroline was awesome as well. Suzanne was such a beautiful person, also just loved the way Alan loved her. Thoughts are with the family; her birthday was 2 weeks after mine, I didnt know her personally, but felt like I did; she just had that way about her, incredible achievements that helped so many, irreplaceable, she will be missed.
