Dear Mr. Hamel, Mr. Somers and Family,
My sincere condolences to you all. Although I never met Ms. Somers, I consider her one of my health freedom mentors. She was one of the people, outside of family, who inspired me because she taught us all to take charge of our lives, and that it was necessary to be in the driver’s seat, and not in the backseat, alone and afraid to make the big decisions toward improving our health, achieving happiness and working toward longevity. I watched her FB videos during the pandemic, and my takeaway was that she demonstrated the importance of surrounding ourselves with family and positive, supportive loving individuals who have our best interest at heart. I loved watching her educate us all, while engaging with her dynamic husband, daughter in law and son. Everything she did was with kindness and a smile. Every endeavor and path she took, she did it fearlessly, or at least that is how it appeared to me. As a woman, I so admired that about her. Her example she set informed me as a caregiver to others facing illness, and I believe her openminded approach to treatment positively impacted the path I took toward helping family, and their successful outcomes. She was so much more than an actress, comedienne, businesswoman and author, and I hope she knew the countless lives she blessed with her authenticity and noble work. May God continue to bless you, and comfort you at this difficult time. She was an angel on earth, and will continue to serve as an angel in heaven.
With great respect and sympathy… Mel
So sad to hear about Suzanne’s passing. Her book “Keeping Secrets” was an inspiration for me on my own road to recovery. It was so brave of her to share her story. I feel that I would be way farther behind if I didn’t read it. Thank you for sharing that difficult story with the rest of us. You were an inspiration. Our prayers and thoughts to your family.
