My son was the one who told me of the passing of Suzanne we hugged and cried so much then I had to tell the news to my daughter she also cried. she is a huge fan and loved Chrissy snow Suzanne was her inspiration she even told me that when she grows up she wants to be successful and help people just like Suzanne did . Suzanne and Alan were such an inspiration to me and my husband we looked up to their marriage and love for each other and how they raised their beautiful family. Suzanne was such an inspiration in my life just seeing how hard she worked as a single mother trying to To feed her son having alot of challenges her way but that didn’t stop her .she never gave up from reaching and achieving her dreams and her goals to give her Son a better life. her hard work and dedication has paid off for her family and that inspires me to do the same for my family. Suzanne inspired me to pursue my goals to make a difference to be the best version of myself to think big and dream even bugger to take risks and embrace challenges to love myself and to know my worth .her words of wisdom life lessons love a caring heart has helped me through my darkest days im here cuz you were there even though you didn’t know me. Your love and care for people can’t be compared to any .you have been a great influence in my life in every way. I will never forget you in my life. Your resilient spirit amidst challenges always amazed me and everything about you just made me want to be better . Thank you Suzanne for everything you did for me and for all the women around the world thanks to you ,your Knowledge, we learned so much .you were the light of this world and now you are shining bright amongst the stars. we all miss you but you will never be forgotten as you live in our hearts forever . Thank you Alan and Bruce for sharing Suzanne with us the fans for letting us in to your home and family. we are with you now and forever. there will never be another Suzanne Sommer she was unique special a legend and an icon she was God sent i truly believe she was an Angel that came in to this world to teach us all about love family and kindness . I can’t begin to tell you how sad I am and how sorry I am for the loss of your Suzanne ….. wife, mother, mother-in-law, stepmom Zany or my Suzanne. All my friends knew I just called her Suzanne, and the new who I was talking about.
This is what I wrote on my Facebook page the evening I heard the horrible news.
I’m upset about the death of Suzanne Somers. I feel like I have to write something about her and her passing, but I don’t want to right now. It’s too much, and it hasn’t sunk in. I feel like I’ve lost a friend. I have followed and watched her for years, read many of her books, admired her for so many reasons, watched her have fun for many years on HSN and her own website where she live chats often from her home with her family. I can’t begin to even tell you how many of her products I haveor have had over the years…many, many, dozens and dozens of her products, communicated with her occasionally via social media, and personally spoken with her several times. Certainly not friends with her, but she DID know who I am, when I would remind her of how our lives touched each others, through my Godchild Becky dressing up as her for a Halloween party, that her daughter-in-law, Carolyn’s friend happened to be at. Suzanne actually posted the picture of my godchild on her Facebook page! Imagine what a surprise and shock it was when I saw my godchild on Suzanne’s page! Not going to go into the details, but she always remembered me, and was always extremely nice and we’d have a chuckle about it.
Oh Suzanne, you were a pioneer in women’s health. You were a savvy, wise and successful businesswoman. You were a beautiful soul. You were talented, brave, gorgeous, intelligent, adorable, funny and so darned cute. Your relationship with your family was beyond special. I very much enjoyed watching your home full of family. Being an only child, single, childless, no parents or siblings,and often feeling all alone… I always admired what y’all had. What a loss you are. You will be missed by so many. I hear tributes are pouring in. Woman….you really made a difference.

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Suzanne ; she invited us into her life and it’s like loosing a friend . Her books on healthy living and life were so helpful and appreciated & she wrote them with such care for us !! Enjoyed her character as Chrissy snow , never missed a show !! She shared her family & life & home with us as if she knew us personally; she was truly one of a kind, a beautiful and special lady . RIP Suzanne 💕you will be missed and thought of often .
I watched suzanne on her shopping Channel and felt like she was so accessible and down to earth and noone was funnier.she will be missed.
