Suzanne was a beautiful and lovely example of female strength. I do feel that Alan is equally strong in his own male way and he complimented Suzanne so perfectly with his genuine loving support. We’ll miss Suzanne dearly; however, Suzanne’s legacy will live on in her step kids and biological kids and their offspring.
Be strong Alan and be sure to drink your smoothies every day! Suzanne wanted you to stay healthy and for your children please be sure to eat and drink plenty of fluids every day.
In honor of Suzanne’s memory, white candles are lit and still burning with beautiful flickering flames in my flower garden.
The circle of life is always in play so one day we will all meet our ending; and when that time comes, I hope we may spiritually say hello to Susanne but in the meantime my lit candles are a hello and also a nod. Suzanne is going to be a very very busy spirit. What is she going to do in that vast great beyond? There’s no Facebook or social media in the afterlife; so, looks like maybe Alan and Suzanne’s kids and the spouses will have to take the flame and post to social media for her. Suzanne will enjoy your adventures documented on social media.
Thank you, Suzanne, for being a bright light for women everywhere; and of course, a light for men too. Your women’s rights influence will never be forgotten.
I was sitting at home when the phone rang. Suzanne was calling to do a pre-interview for a segment I was producing. Pre-interviews can be quick and the segment wasn’t going to be that long. We spoke for over an hour.
She told me all about her quest to stay cancer free, how she was planting her own organic garden, removing toxins from her life, about the supplements she was taking and how good she was feeling.
The next day I met her and Alan in the lobby. After leading them through security we popped into the bodega inside the building. “Oh good, coconut water,” she said. She looked at me and asked, “Would you like one, Deb?” I said I was all set as I tried to remain professional. “Are you sure? It’s one of the healthiest things you can drink.” She rang hers up and we headed towards the green room. We chatted the entire time as if we were old friends. Suzanne was down to earth, gracious, humble and authentic. She told me how she is “in the business of not getting cancer again” with all her clean products she was promoting and the books she was writing to help others live a healthy life.
After her segment ended, we snapped this photo and I led them out.
I always wished I could bump into her again, to tell her of my own breast cancer diagnosis, how I also made it through the traumatic treatment regimen, how I didn’t forget our chat and I’m now following her game plan also doing everything I can to prevent a recurrence.
When I stumbled upon the news of her death it jolted me. How could it be. There was no health is deteriorating or entering hospice bulletin. She did everything she could to prevent this. I questioned whether any of the healthy lifestyle choices really matter in the end.
Suzanne said her doctors told her it is because of her lifestyle that she was able to live as long as she did before her cancer came back.
So I will continue to follow her lead, eat healthy, avoid toxins…and yes drink more coconut water. R.I.P Suzanne and thank you.
Rest in peace beautiful lady. 🌹🌹
I feel like I knew her personally from watching her on Facebook, of course I watched and loved her on Threes company, then reading several of her books. But watching her interact with her beloved husband you could see and feel the love. She came across as a real genuine person not a celebrity. Suzanne was such a inspiration, I have felt very sad since I learned of her passing. I Hope Allen will lean on his family, I wish them all strength and trust they will lean on each other and put their faith in God as only He can give them peace. I will keep all of the family in my prayers.
My deepest condolences to the hole family. I feel like I have lost a part of my own family. I grew up watching Suzanne on threes company couldn’t Waite to watch every day with my mom and grandma we would laugh until we cried. I remember but her thigh master too!she was an amazing actress and such a beautiful person. She was such an inspiration to so many people
Prayers to the home family for strength to get through this difficult time.
She loved you all and will always be with you. She is an Angel and in peace.
Rest In Peace beautiful Suzanne. You will be so missed 🙏🏻💔
