I am 51, a mom of 3 (2 boys 15,22 1 daughter 27)and military spouse of 23 years. I grew up in a house where my father had severe PTSD (navy corpsman Vietnam)and my mom tried to control every aspect of our environment to keep things running smoothly for Dad so he didn’t explode. I have a younger sister, we kept our home very quiet, did not have friends over and we’re not involved in any activities growing up. I remember being so anxious and sad all the time with low self esteem. This led to an abusive 1st marriage. Growing up watching Three’s Company was my little piece of happiness each week. I never missed an episode. I was also a fan of Step By Step and anything Suzanne was on. I purchased all of her books, watched her on QVC, used the Somercise diet to lose weight after each of my babies were born. I was thrilled to be able to watch her on FB live and never missed an episode and was using her health tips to help with my diagnosis of RA/Lupus/Sjogrens. Suzanne was such a wealth of knowledge and yet easy to understand. I have always been a silent fan but wanted to share how much she helped me. I never met her or knew her but I’ve been bawling like a baby and tearing through my Costco Kleenex stash, thank you for sharing Suzanne with us. Sending virtual hugs to you all. You all have a beautiful family! Sending love and continued prayers from Atlanta, Georgia.

I grew up watching Suzanne on Three’s Company and then in the sitcom Step by Step. I always thought she was so funny and beautiful! I followed her journey with breast cancer and read many of her books and they were so helpful to me. The last few years I have followed her on Instagram and watched her live videos. She and her husband and daughter in law were such a pleasure to watch. I am so impressed but not surprised to hear of what a great mother, grandmother and homemaker she was. She and I have a couple things in common: our love of singing and sweets! I will always remember how her advice in interviews and her books inspired me. What a wonderful human being! I’m sure she’s smiling that beautiful smile in Heaven now and probably singing in the choir! God be with her loving family during this tremendous loss.

My heartfelt ♥ Condolences 🇨🇦🍁

Thank You Suzanne for your book “Keeping Secrets”. As an “Adult Child of an Alcoholic” and growing up Catholic this book moved me deeply because it was so authentic and relatable

Rest In Peace and good job on a life well lived. I will miss following your life’s journey
