Condolences to Alan and family on the loss of a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

I’ve been watching your Facebook lives for awhile, and before those, never really knew much about Suzanne or Al, other than her Three’s Company fame and firing, that she did appearances at GI shows, was in American Graffiti, and that she and my mom shared an October 16th birthday (and my mom was married to my dad, also an Al, for 49 years). It was such a unique opportunity to be invited into the home of a celebrity via Facebook video, hear about her organic products and the stories she and Al would tell, watch her do cooking demos, and show the human side of being famous. Thank you, Suzanne and Al, for opening your home and hearts to the public, and allowing us to witness what a beautiful soul she was, as well as the precious and rare love you shared. She will be missed.

From my FB wall: I’ve waited nearly two weeks to post this. We all have our favorite celebrities and Suzanne Somers was one of mine. I’ve loved her since the very beginning. She was very important to me this year when I was down with chemo side effects. I became addicted, actually comforted, by watching her daily one hour show casually selling her products. She, along with her beloved husband Alan Hamel, kept me company (we were 3’s company 😍). As I was stuck in bed, staring at the ceiling on the rougher days this year, I would watch the clock and get excited for Suzanne’s hour live show. Not only was it a distraction, but her loveliness was like a medicine to my soul. I never purchased anything, as I purposed to not spend money thoughtlessly this year, but that’s not why I watched. I just liked being with her, being around her. She was a mainstay for me. I will miss her….. knowing that she is no longer in the world. But I am assured that she is in Heaven…… and one day I will get the chance to tell her how she helped me through the chemo hard days. She was one-of-a-kind. 💔✝️❤️
