I was so sad to learn of Suzanne’s passing. For several years I was one of “Suzanne’s Ladies”. It was back in Suzanne’s HSN days. I looked forward to all her shows and watched as many as I could. I loved to listen to her stories. I bought her books and became a SomerSizer. I lost 60 lbs and rediscovered my love of actual cooking. I bought many products – the hot chocolates were my favorite, closely followed by the salt rubs. Sadly, since Suzanne left HSN I am no longer able to afford them. Since, as you say – it’s not about the money, won’t you consider lowering the cost of her things? Maybe even for an “event” like Amazon Days? I think Suzanne would have liked the idea as it would undoubtedly get her items in to many many more ladies homes. Perhaps even introduce Suzanne’s items to a new generation. I’m sorry if I sound disrespectful – I don’t mean to. I adored Suzanne’s pioneering spirit, her intellect and of course, her massive heart and talent. I especially loved her love – for her “fans” – a word she didn’t like. Suzanne respected her fans. Sadly, that is something todays “celebrities” don’t understand the value of. Suzanne did. I will miss her and would truly like to reconnect with her through her website and her products. If only I could. God Bless Suzanne’s sweet and beautiful soul. Now she is free to watch over us all.
In life there are people that you think will Always be there because they are strong & make a difference. They steady, caring, unconditional love, authentic, they are your Grandma, John Wayne & maybe Suzanne Somers. It’s 1977, 3’s Company & Suzanne came into the world & we never missed an episode. I wore my hair like Chrissy & tried to dress the same. I was pregnant with my daughter (12/10/1977). I wanted to name her Sunshine & call her Sunny but her Dad mixed that idea. I named her Sommer Dawn after Suzanne because of her huge smile & bright light. My daughter exudes the same qualities. I also identified with Suzanne’s story in the late 1960’s as I was a single Mom with a young son. Life was difficult & yes, Bruce, we lived off of baked potatoes & sometimes artichokes because they cost only 25cents at the time. I followed Suzanne’s career & bought her books & made her recipes of which roasted Roma tomatoes were a favorite of my guests. I bought her supplements & had complete trust in her & the products because I knew she did her relentless research. We were all so impressed with this beautiful & talented woman who continued to reinvent herself yet remain true to herself. She was real & authentic to her roots & her true spirit. She put Al & Bruce & her blended family above all else. She has taught us all many lessons in life & death. She had many gifts but her greatest gift was the gift of love. She knew love & she knew GOD. She held her head high and flowed through life with much grace. Our hearts are broken. I will never forget that fabulous smile & her gentle kind authentic spirit. May GOD bless U ALL. And may your dear sweet memories bring you all peace & comfort. ☮️❤️ Diane Walker
I remember Three’s Company it was one of my favorite shows and Suzanne made the show. I was sad when they let her go. I haven’t followed her would come across her from time to time. When she showed up on my YouTube feed. I was like this is what I’ve be looking for. Love watching her and learning from her. I still can’t believe she has passed. I tear up thinking about it. She was a beautiful person. I pray for all of you that was close to her. I’m very sorry for your loss. Sending love and a cake for Suzanne🎂
We grew up watching Three’s Company and my mom was a big fan of the Thigh Master. Later, I used the Biote Hormonal Pellet and now I’m an avid consumer of Gut Renew. Suzanne has been such a positive influence on my family and myself. God Bless
Suzanne radiated grace, beauty and wellness. I was isolating during covid in Spring 2020 when I stumbled onto her Facebook live sessions. I had always admired her holistic approach to health, and her independence with sharing her views, not always accepted with the mainstream. Her commitment to a healthy and beautiful outlook on life, along with her humor and love of family was evident. Suzanne was a celebrity, but never appeared to lead with that attitude. Hence her connection to so many who used her products or had the opportunity to be in her presence. Her family has been blessed with a beautiful soul, who will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
