I couldn’t believe that Suzanne had passed when my son told me. I just started crying. It felt as if my sister had just passed. I loved watching her, hearing about what she was up to and what she had done in the past. I loved watching her cook and the celebrations. I will miss her immensely.
Suzanne was a pioneer for equal pay for women. She will always be remembered for that. Not only was she beautiful she was smart, fierce
and a great business woman. Your family should be very proud of all she accomplished. She fought the good fight for breast cancer.

For many, many years I hid the fact that I grew up with alcoholics at home that seemingly terrorized my mother and I. I was ashamed and scared all the time. One day I picked up one of Suzanne’s books in the Port Authority in NYC, and I read her experience and I never felt alone again. I realized that what happened to me in my childhood, happened to others as well even a beautiful celebrity like her. She made me feel unashamed and I am having a good life now. I have always wanted to thank her for sharing her story and let her know how much she helped me. I hope somehow she knows. May she rest in peace. I believe she’s an angel now.
