I’m so deeply heartbroken over Suzanne’s passing. I’ve been a devout Suzanne fan since Three’s company and HSN with Colleen. And then along with Alan and Bruce and Caroline with all the grandkids fan since watching her FB and IG live shows early in 2020. She felt like a friend who invited us into her home. I speak for many when I say I felt like family too watching; I would cook dinner watching FB lives :). The love Alan has for Suzanne is something I admire. Suzanne knew how to love back and be vulnerable and I think that’s why I felt so touched by their marriage -It was mutual respect, affection, attraction and pure love and lots of laughter. I heard a song Monday that made me weep thinking of her: The Bangles, Eternal Flame. How she must have felt about Alan she they first met. I haven’t heard that song in years. I love all her product: I wear all her make-up, cleansers, and tell everyone that the products are truly clean. I always have gut renew in stock and have lots of her herbs and oil dressing products. I have the thigh master and many clothes. I have desperately wanted to see Suzanne come on and tell us how she’s doing, but I knew she was always in good hands with Alan and all the family. Her legacy for me is this: I’m 60 yo now. When I was 45 yo I called a compounding pharmacy in PA when I lived up north and asked them for a doctor recommendation who “is like Suzanne Somers”, “someone who uses similar protocols”. They recommended someone who got me started on HRT, Vit. D3, etc. and I felt so much better! Because of following Suzanne, I didn’t have any night sweats, hot flashes, etc. when going through menopause because I was pretty balanced. I owe her my health and path to wellness doctors, have many of her books. I have a 20 yo son with autism and used the same principals that Suzanne taught us to help heal him incl. finding those off the radar doctors who are life-changing. I weep for her loss, the only celebrity who is more than an actress, even though I was a big Three’s Company fan, too. But to me, she’s more than that and those who watch her and buy her products understand why we’re so distraught and love her so much. There is no celebrity who compares to Suzanne. She cared about our health and that is everything. I made her famous chicken and loved her cooking shows with Caroline, Alan and Bruce and then the girls. But most of all, I loved watching her family gatherings and took note! I loved her honesty and vulnerability, laughter, singing, love for her family. I feel like I lost a friend who had more to tell me about so many things, but maybe it’s all been said. I grieve for all of you. And I love that so many like me who are avid FB/IG show fans feel the same way I do because we all get the love she had for everyone – she was so unique. I will continue to buy so many products incl. the monthly box, and wear her nail polish. I’m so sorry for Alan, the love of her life, and for Bruce who lost a special mom and Caroline who I follow on IG and love her cooking, and the girls, all of them. One of the conversations I love best was when Alan and Suzanne would say how you can’t have friends who are perfect or you won’t have any friends! The way they said that was so profound and the biggest lesson she taught was about forgiveness, something Suzanne expressed beautifully by example. I will miss the stories and words of wisdom so much. I found myself looking over her past videos on her website, so she will always be there to inspire me. No one was like Suzanne, she had the “it” factor and that can’t be taught. Thanks for the memories, I love you so much Suzanne; you were always so respectful and appreciative of us, your fans. Thank you for all your clean products and recipes. But most of all, I thank Suzanne for her medical guidance, from so many experts, that changed the course of my life and my families for the better. Prayers for all her family and her dear friends and thanking God for her life.

It’s hard to put into words how much someone means to you, even from afar. Suzanne’s work and advocacy has been a part of my entire life. She was a true pioneer for women, proving that there are so many layers to someone outside of their good looks. Suzanne was so beautiful, but she was so much more. So smart, so funny, loving and always in the moment. I wish I had met her, just to tell her how much I admired her. She always held eye contact when speaking to someone and was very observant. She had so many wonderful qualities that I’m sure were multiplied to those that knew her personally. As a fan, I will help continue her legacy by remembering all that she was.

Suzanne, you are so loved and will be missed. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, beautiful!
