Back in the 90’s I was hired by a Beverly Hills Rabbi to take photographs at a celebrity auction event at the Cartier store on Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills. Suzanne Somers was the celebrity guest. The earrings that were auctioned off raised $55,000.00 primarily due to Suzanne’s popularity. The event lasted about 45 minutes and during that time I took several pictures of Suzanne. The major news outlets were also at the event. Meeting Suzanne at the event was a surreal moment in my life that I never will forget. She was so gracious, kind, smiling and filled with life. She lit up the Cartier store and the press loved her. Ironically a few of my pictures of Suzanne were published in the Beverly Hills local magazine and various media outlets. Still to this day I have a few of the pictures I took of Suzanne. I will cherish them for as long as I live. She was a larger than life force of nature that was so resilient nothing could break her. Nothing did break her and actually she’s been set free from all her earthly challenges. Each and everyone of us will be facing what Suzanne has faced at the time of passing. Fact is, nobody gets out of this world alive in the flesh. Yes, when I woke up Sunday morning, opened the Instagram app and read what Suzanne’s family posted I must say my heart sunk. The fact she passed and 1 day before her birthday was a very tough reality to accept. I can imagine how difficult her passing is for her family. To say the least, yes, I cried and still mourning her passing. In my opinion, Suzanne Somers is legend who created a beautiful family and legacy that will live on forever! My deepest condolences to Suzanne’s entire family, close friends and her fans. Yes, this is a tough moment but let’s continue to celebrate her and her legacy together. Thank you for allowing us to leave our comments and allowing us to express ourselves. Suzanne, thank you for being who you are and being such an inspiring voice in the world. You taught us what love is all about. Godspeed beautiful Angel.
Suzanne had such a glow and timelessness about her. I think it was because of the unmatched love between her and Alan. My Dad just passed 2 days before her and my hope is that they find each other in heaven because they can take turns making the other one laugh. I’m so sorry for your loss but hopefully there’s healing in knowing just how beloved she was.
Thank you for being so kind as to include us in this most private time in your life’s
I started watching Suzanne and Alan a few years ago on FB . I was hooked the first day! Her beauty, her knowledge, her love . She was my inspiration. Because of her I have no more problems with my digestive system and I have the most healthiest hair ever! I enjoyed listening to her and Alan talk about anything and everything. Suzanne and Alan were truly soulmates. 💞
I never meet Suzanne but I feel like I lost my best friend. 💔 Thank you Suzanne for sharing your life with us. RIP Suzanne
My deepest condolences to Alan , Bruce , Caroline and family. God bless you all. 🙏🩷
Omgosh she was like my second mom in 90s. So much warmth and light! As I grew up and got to know more about her as a person, she was such a courageous trailblazer who paved the way for women in not only in TV, but in entrepreneurship. If something didn’t work, she pivoted and tried something else, eventually hitting many endeavors out of the park.
She’s a mix of warmth and glamor that makes her very special. What a loss, but also a life so well lived.
