I was on Facebook and for some reason a Facebook live from Suzanne popped up
It was from October 23, 2019. She was wearing a beautiful yellow dress and Alan was looking handsome. They were talking about their Vegas trip and having dinner with Paul Rogers and his wife, Lady Gaga and how much fun they had. Suzanne was soooo full of life. She was gorgeous. 73 and looked 45. Watching you two with Caroline and Bruce in the background being silly was perfection. You always brightened up my day. I was too young to watch Three’s Company when it first aired because it was racey for the day.. But I watched reruns when I got older. Suzanne made that show great. When she left I stopped watching it because it just wasn’t the same. Then Step By Step entered my life. TGIF was my jam. I absolutely love that show. Suzanne and Patrick were perfect together. One of the best tv couples. Suzanne’s comedic timing and her heart were fantastic. I would watch it with my mom even as a young adult throughout the entire series. In that seven years I literally got married and had three of my four kids throughout the original airing. Then as I got older the thigh master entered my life. It really does work and I use it often. Then Somersizing, the recipes, the food, the apron, the books, the jewelry, the clothes, entered my mom, my sister and my life. We made lots of Suzanne’s recipes. We Somersized together. Suzanne was truly a big part of our lives. It was so much fun to watch Suzanne and the hosts on the shopping networks. Then there is the original Face master and then the updated face master. It really works. Then the amazing Suzanne Somers organic and non toxic beauty line, hair care, skin care and I use so many of the products. I would not know what to do if Gut Renew didn’t exist. I’m out and it’s been only a week and I already have gut issues and cravings for junk. I gotta order some after this post. Then the Facebook lives started and we got to get a glimpse into the wonderful love that Suzanne and Alan share. Then we got to meet her beautiful family. Caroline who is so funny, smart and savvy and obviously beautiful. Sweet Bruce who is hilarious and so kind. Leslie is clearly a terrific designer and beautiful and those gorgeous granddaughters with hutzpah. I absolutely love the fierceness of all of the Hamel/Somers women. The way you all stepped in and up during Suzanne’s illness even while dealing with jerks and creeps that Violet is lightening fast at blocking was beautiful. As I write this I realize that Suzanne Somers has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. I grew up with her. I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting her in person but I did get to benefit from her talent, wisdom, comedy, innovation, wisdom and genuine love. I believed her when she signed off Facebook live and said she loved us, her ladies. When someone like Suzanne, as impactful, so full of light and larger than life leaves the world, she does leave it a better place and leaves us with a Suzanne Somers size hole. Just thinking about the legacy she left, the personal impact she had on my life, the beautiful and fun memories I have of my wonderful mom who passed in 2014 and my sister that we made as we cooked the recipes and shared health information we learned from Suzanne that obviously wouldn’t exist without her mean so much to me. The access we have to truly healthy and safe products, wonderful education about health and truth, and the beauty of light and love is such a blessing. Alan and family, my heart, my prayers and my gratefulness for you and Suzanne is with you all.

Suzanne, I learned so much from you on my weight loss journey in your early days on HSN with Colleen. I lost 100 pounds that year. I still have some trilliant jewelry and a beautiful camel suede handbag with your signature lavender lining. Thank you for your dedication to lifelong learning and sharing your knowledge. Bless you.

Susan was an amazing beautiful person that I admire SO much. I will miss her on her regular facebook live. I grew up watching her on Threes company. I came across one time hearing her sing on youtube and I said to myself I would love to sing like her one day. She is amazing. I enjoy trying her products and I tried her herbs and olive oils on my chicken. I tried it and i was amazed of the smell and tastes was so delicious. Thanks Suzanne i can cook..Anyhow I’m so sad about her gone. Im just so sad. I truly feel like she my family. I grew up obsessed with step by step. I absolutely adored Suzanne as she reminded me so much of my own mum. My mum adored her so much too. I was so very sad to see Suzanne had passed away. Thankyou for the beautiful memories from my childhood 💗💗💗
