I waited a while to write this to make sure I said all I wanted to say without saying to much. So here goes. First, Chrissy was my friend and we had such good times together. I was a latch-key kid, and she and Janet and Jack met me everyday after-school and kept me company. Secondly, Suzanne and I share the same birthday, 11 years apart. I am Oct. 16th, 1957. Third, we’re both mid-western blondes who went to Catholic School. Fourth our Daddy’s were very much alike, as I am the youngest adult child of an alcoholic. I so can match Suzanne story for story from her book about her young life, living with an alcoholic. As my Prom dress was hanging on the back of my bedroom door at mid-night on Thursday before Prom , on Saturday. I was awakened when my Dad also ripped up my Prom dress. I too came from a troubled home and growing up watching Suzanne’s sunny outlook on life (Chrissy’s) made a profound impact on me. Condolences to her beautiful loving family! She loved you with her entire being and so I feel her hugging you all tight during this time!!

I’ve been watching and admiring Suzanne my whole life. Truly ahead of her time with natural skincare and health products. I own all her books and also the famous thigh master.
I had notice she wasn’t on the air as much but had no idea she was so sick. I miss her greatly.
I’m sure her legacy will continue. Please bring big Al on as much as possible. Loved watching them at Big Al’s bar drinking Tequila.

Dearest Suzanne,

If you only knew how you touched us as a family. You will be forever missed.
My grandmother told my mother about Suzanne Somers then my mother told me and I had the pleasure of telling my daughter about her and her legacy.
Suzanne was a beaming light of warmth, wisdom, and charisma.
I love all of her books, her thigh master, her healthy and beauty products and the wealth of information that she had provided over several decades that has helped my family for generations.
I agree with her viewpoints on Big Pharma, Equality in the workplace, and how to get healthy and stay healthy.
I have passed a lot of her brilliant ideas onto my children as well as using it to combat Health issues myself.
I was deeply grief stricken by her passing it felt like I lost a family member and a great mentor.
My deepest sympathies to Suzanne’s dearest Al, and family.
Love, J
