Happy 77th Birthday Dearest Suzanne. I am sorry you had to leave us all so soon. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the entire family and to all that loved Suzanne. She will be missed terribly by so many. I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for all of the wisdom she shared through her many books and on her “live shows” educating us about how our bodies work and sharing her personal journey, family stories and her passion to develop the organic product line to help all of us take better care of our bodies by nourishing them with wonderful organic products.
I was introduced to Suzanne watching Three’s Company so many years ago, then remember her exercise video’s and the infamous Thigh Master. I had “lost touch” for many years and was reacquainted about 6 years ago when I was looking for Organic beauty products. My late beloved mother had just died of Cervical Cancer at 68. I was her primary caretaker along with running her 35+ year old family daycare business caring for up to 8 children solo. We treated Mom with as much holistic and organic food and treatments as possible thinking this would “save” her. We did our best, but the Cancer had gone too long unchecked and untreated. So, I implore women everywhere to be diligent about your own healthcare and follow up early.
It was after mother’s passing, and as I approached 50, that I firmly decided I needed to do more for myself, like using Organic hair, body and makeup products. I had changed my diet some 20 years earlier and knew more needed to be done. “Miraculously”, an ad for Suzanne Somers’ products showed up on my FB feed. Ah, the answer to my search ended there.
I tried the monthly subscription box and love every single thing I’ve used. I definitely feel like I’m doing my body good when using these products. I simply love them. I will now think of Suzanne every time I use them knowing she wanted better for us, for her, for her family, for the planet and the world. What a strong and determined woman to bring all of her passions to fruition. Of course, with the help and undying and never ending support of her beloved Alan, Bruce, Caroline and family.
What a wonderful legacy to leave behind for her family and for all of us who will continue to reap the rewards of her passion, love and hard work for eon’s to come. I will, along with so many others, stay on board to see the evolution of the business as it grows and expands with her beautiful family at the helm. Sadly, I had to close my mother’s 35+ year old business and start over at 50. But you all get to keep things going, quite possibly for generations to come. Truly, a blessing for all you! With deep gratitude and love and prayer’s for you all. Indeed, “Only The Good Die Young”. Suzanne, may your journey on the other side be as fruitful and loving as the life you lived. I know she will be watching over her loved ones along the way…just as she did while here. Peace and blessings. JamieRae

I am deeply saddened at this loss
I didn’t follow her consistently but have always seen her as a good soul. May she rest in peace with our Heavenly Father.
She lived her life doing what she loved, she followed her heart. She did the things that made her smile. What an inspiration to all women. She touched my soul and my heart. My ❤️ and 🙏🏼 go out to her husband, son, daughter in-law and all her grand-children. The world will not be the same without her but her spirit has touched us all. May God Bless You and give you His comfort.
Suzanne was such an inspiration to me for so many years. I followed her religiously from her fashion sense, beauty advice, and especially health and wellness. I was lucky enough to get to speak with her for a brief moment once as a caller on HSN. I told her what I purchased and how far ahead of the fashion trend she was. She was so friendly and was more interested in the weather where I was calling from. That was the early show that day. The best part was when I watched the evening show with her the same day, something about the weather came up again, and she said, “yes, I know, that’s what Susan said this morning about New Jersey” she actually remembered our brief conversation and actually remembered my name. My husband was there and he was just as surprised as me that she remembered such a tiny detail of that day. It made me so happy, she made me feel special. I knew then she was the real deal. Since then I’ve purchased so much of Suzanne Organics, you have no idea. I can’t live without so many of them. I will still support Suzanne’s company and vision for women. I truly hope Caroline and Leslie will channel her style and love for amazing, clean products and continue to bring them to us. Today, on her birthday, I walked out of my house past my flower garden which, in late October is pretty much gone, and a beautiful yellow Zinia just bloomed. It wasn’t there yesterday. Yellow was her signature color. I’d like to think it means something. I took a picture of it and now it’s my homepage wallpaper. You went Home to soon, Dear Suzanne, but you left the world a better place for us all.
Love, Susan
